# Acuity Scheduling

> Connect Dimedove with Acuity Scheduling so your agents can check availability, book, and reschedule appointments directly in the conversation.

Dimedove's Acuity Scheduling integration lets your AI agents manage appointments without leaving the chat. Connect your account so the agent can read your real availability, book appointments, and reschedule them based on the conversation.

## Integration features

### Live calendar

Acuity connects in live calendar mode, so the agent works directly with your appointment calendar inside the conversation.

### Agent actions

You choose which actions your agent can perform:

* **Check availability**: present real open appointment times from your Acuity calendar.
* **Book an appointment**: confirm the visitor's details and create the appointment.
* **Reschedule an appointment**: move an existing appointment to a new time the visitor chooses.

### Key capabilities

* **Multiple appointment types**: offer different appointment types and tell the agent when to use each one.
* **Permission control**: enable availability, booking, and rescheduling independently per task.
* **Unified inbox**: every conversation appears in your Dimedove dashboard alongside all other channels, and any bookings made during a conversation are tracked right within it.

## Getting connected

To connect your Acuity Scheduling account:

1. Navigate to your agent's **Tasks** and add a **Calendar** task.
2. Select **Acuity Scheduling** as the provider.
3. Enter your Acuity **User ID** and **API key**.
4. Add the appointment type(s) visitors can book, using each appointment type's ID, with a label and an optional condition.
5. Choose which actions the agent can perform, then save and test.
