Tasks
The Tasks page lists the work your agents have planned across every goal, grouped by when it is due: Overdue, Today, Tomorrow, This week, and Upcoming, followed by Done and Dropped. Each row shows an icon for the kind of task, the task, when it is due, the goal it belongs to, and the agent it is assigned to. Use Filter tasks to narrow the list.Kinds of tasks
Working with a task
Click a task to open it, with a link to the goal it belongs to. When the agent’s reasoning adds something to the title, the info icon next to the title shows why it planned the task. From there you can:- Reschedule: click the due date to pick a new time.
- Mark done: close the task yourself.
- Cancel: drop the task, with an optional reason.
Approvals
Approvals are how you keep the final say over what your agents send. Each goal runs in one of two modes:- Ask: the agent asks you before every message, call, and record update. Nothing goes out until you approve it. This is the default for new goals.
- Autonomous: the agent sends messages, places calls, and updates records without asking you. If something it wrote looks wrong, it stops and asks anyway.
When an autonomous goal still asks
Before anything goes out on an autonomous goal, the agent’s draft is checked. When a check trips, the draft is held for your approval and the reason is listed under Look at:- It promises something this goal does not cover
- It repeats internal notes about this person
- It tells them they are not a fit
- They asked to be contacted another way
- Nothing on file supports this value
Where approvals appear
- The Approvals column on the Tasks page, which reads All caught up when nothing is waiting
- The top of the goal’s page
- Needs your attention on your dashboard’s Home page
Approving from outside the dashboard
You do not have to open the dashboard to decide:- Email: when Ask by email is on in Settings, the goal’s owner (or your default owner, when nobody owns the goal) receives each request by email, as long as they have not turned off Approval requested in their notifications. Reply “approve” or “reject” to decide; short answers such as yes, ok, or no work too, in English or French. Reminders arrive by email before the request expires.
- Slack and Microsoft Teams: when a goal was delegated to Ask Dimedove from a Slack or Microsoft Teams thread, its approvals appear in that thread as a card with Approve and Reject buttons.
Expiry
Approval requests expire after 48 hours by default, and sooner when the request is urgent or the goal’s deadline is close. You can change the default in Settings. Silence never counts as approval: when a request expires, nothing is sent and the goal moves to Waiting for team until someone decides the next step. After you approve
An approved message goes out immediately when you are inside your working hours. An email or text you approve outside working hours goes out in the hour before they open, and an approved call waits until they open. If the agent re-planned the proposal while you were reading it, the request can no longer be decided: check the goal for its next step. The same approval queue also holds requests from workflow Approval request steps and tool runs you asked Ask Dimedove to carry out, so every decision your team owes is in one place.
