Facebook Messenger is available to teams on the Pro subscription.
Deploy your Dimedove agents to your Facebook Pages. Your agent answers the people who message your Page on Messenger, and takes care of the comments on your Page’s posts. In the dashboard, the platform appears as Messenger.

Prerequisites

  • A Dimedove account with the Pro subscription
  • A Facebook Page you manage
  • At least one Dimedove agent that is published and live

Setup

Step 1: Connect Your Facebook Pages

  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations in your Dimedove dashboard
  2. In the Social group, click Configure on Messenger
  3. Sign in to Facebook, choose the Pages you want to connect, and click Allow
To add more Pages later, click Manage on the card, then Reconnect, and update your selection.

Step 2: Create a Social Channel

  1. Go to Socials, under Channels in your dashboard sidebar, and click Add
  2. Give the channel a Name, choose the Assigned Agent, and set the Channel to Messenger
  3. Select the Connected Business Page this channel responds to

Step 3: Choose What Your Agent Handles

  • Direct Messages: your agent answers the Messenger conversations people start with your Page
  • Comments & Moderation: your agent handles comments on your Page’s posts. Turn on Public reply for it to answer in the thread, add optional Reply Instructions, and turn on Auto-hide Comments with a description of which comments to hide
Click Save, then turn the channel on.

What Your Agent Does

  • Answers Messenger conversations with the same knowledge and personality it uses on every channel, reading the images and files people share
  • Replies to comments on your posts, hides the ones that match your rules, and lets the rest be
  • Keeps you in the loop: every conversation appears in your Dimedove Inbox, contacts are created automatically, and the channel’s Activity tab shows every comment it handled
See the Socials overview for how comment moderation, credits, and reconnecting work across platforms.
